IEDUP organizes exhibitions, and provides marketing support to micro and small entrepreneurs to facilitate them in marketing their products as well as Business promotion. Institute has been awarded by Development Commissioner, Small Scale Industries (DCSSI), and Council of Science & Technology, U.P for organizing Exhibitions for Small Trainee Entrepreneurs in Hilly areas and Backward regions respectively.
In last couple of years, Institute is regularly organizing national level exhibitions, MSME Summit cum Exhibition. Objectives were to i) bring MSMEs, Ministries, Govt. departments, R&D institutions on one platform to discuss pertinent issues vis-à-vis current scenario, identify the gaps, ii) exchange ideas, learn lessons from each other and promote your business by actionable strategies to meet the challenges, iii) disseminate information on schemes, activities, products and services offered by Government for MSMEs, and iv) provide an opportunity to micro, and small entrepreneurs, artisans, and social entrepreneurs to demonstrate their product and services.
These events, focused on Handicrafts and Food sector, were organized with financial support from Government departments such as Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India, Khadi& Village Industries Commission, National Small Industries Corporation, Kanpur, National Research & Development Corporation, New Delhi; Financial Institutions such as NABARD, SIDBI, Bank of Baroda.
Besides, we also facilitate potential entrepreneurs in conducting market survey for various categories of product so as to enable the entrepreneurs to select the product to be manufactured and to sell their products.
Exposure visits to various industries and institutionsare also organized by the Institute for potential entrepreneurs, students, officials and delegates from various training as well as financial institutions coming from different parts of the country.
